The Beneteau First 34.7 is renowned for its clever design, maintaining a comfortable living space whilst being more performance focussed than a regular cruising boat. ?Cobra? has been IRC optimised and has a great track record of recent wins across local inshore and offshore races. This presents an excellent opportunity for someone to buy either a fast family cruiser or a capable racing boat that is ready to campaign, a truly versatile design.

Accommodation

Forward is the heads compartment with a Jabsco marine loo, wash basin, tap, vanity and hanging locker. This area could double as stowage for wet ket, there are ample hooks around the room. Coming aft is the saloon with bench seating either side of a central folding table, the seating can be used as large single berths. To starboard is the nav station with chart table, B&G Vulcan 12 plotter, Icom VHF, Sony stereo and the main switch panel. To port is the galley, equipped with Eno two burner gas stove, stainless steel basin with mixer tap and a large coolbox. There are two cabins aft. To starboard is the owners cabin, a large double cabin with ample stowage and hanging space for two adults. To port is an open quarter berth, ideal for easy access to the cockpit and nav station when passage making. She has a clean, open cockpit. Again showing the clever design with the mainsheet track towards the helm station, leaving plenty of working/entertaining space between the helm and the companionway. At the helm is a large wheel, twin B&G repeaters and the Raymarine auto pilot. The large wheel allows for comfortable helming from either side of the cockpit and stood centrally. There are also Fusion cockpit speakers. Pressurised water throughout the accommodation, also plenty of LED lighting and Lewmar opening hatches and port holes.

Mechanical Systems

Under the companionway in an insulated engine room is a Yanmar 20hp diesel engine powering a Eliche Radice two bladed folding propeller via saildrive. Single lever controls at the helm (removable). 75 litre diesel tank. Last serviced in late 2025, new saildrive seal, engine mounts and starter motor also new in 2024. Well cared for in this ownership, annual service and preventative maintenance has been carried out meticulously.
