The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 is a popular and well-proven family cruising yacht, offering a good combination of sailing performance, manageable handling and comfortable accommodation. "Aquarian" is a 2006 Legende version with the desirable two-cabin layout and has been in her current ownership for approximately 13 years. During that time she has cruised extensively around the East Coast, as well as making passages to Belgium and the Netherlands. Her inventory includes a Yanmar 29hp diesel engine, 2021 laminate mainsail and genoa, Raymarine Axiom 9" chartplotter, autopilot, AIS receiver, cabin heating and a feathering propeller. She was antifouled and had her anodes renewed in June 2026.

Accommodation

Offering up to four berths across two separate cabins, with good storage and standing headroom throughout. In the forecabin there is a double berth with storage beneath and lockers. Moving aft, the saloon has settee seating to either side of a central saloon table and storage provided around the cabin. The galley is equipped with a two-burner LPG cooker with grill and oven, refrigerator, sink and storage. Hot and cold pressurised water, supplied from a 310 litre freshwater tank. Hot water heated by the engine and immersion heater. Separate heads compartment with manual marine toilet, washbasin and shower, together with a 45 litre holding tank. The aft cabin provides a further double berth and storage. Cabin heating is provided by a Mikuni diesel heater.

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath the companionway, Yanmar 3YM30 three-cylinder 29hp diesel engine, installed from new in 2006. Freshwater cooled. Approximately 1,284 engine hours recorded. Shaft drive to a three-bladed Darglow feathering propeller, fitted in 2014, with rope cutter. Single 130 litre plastic fuel tank. Wheel steering. Maximum speed approximately 7.6 knots and cruising speed approximately 6 knots. The owner advises that the engine has been serviced annually, including engine oil and filter, fuel filter, water trap, belts, raw-water impeller, gearbox oil checks and air filter as appropriate. The air filter was changed in 2026. An 80A alternator was fitted in 2020.

Construction

Built by Jeanneau in 2006. GRP hull with gelcoat finish, GRP deck with moulded non-slip surfaces. Standard draft keel, stated as steel, with approximately 1.85m draft. The listing agreement records a transom-hung rudder. Hull antifouled and anodes renewed in June 2026.
