This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45DS has an excellent spec for easy short-handed cruising with her inmast furling and plenty of entertaining space in her large cockpit and deck saloon for the six she accommodates in comfort. In her current ownership she has mainly been used on the east and south coasts of the UK.

Accommodation

Forward she has the owners suite with large island bed, vanity unit with seat. Hanging lockers and shelving to the sides and private en suite heads with shower compartment. The saloon has U shaped seating to starboard and a bench settee to port. There is a flat screen television on the forward bulkhead and a large folding dining table with plenty of room for your guests. There is plenty of stowage in the saloon with underfloor compartments and cupboards/shelving to the sides. There is a washing machine neatly tucked into a compartment in front of the forward facing navigation seat and chart table. When this compartment is closed it allows for a much larger space for paper chart work. There is an L shaped galley to starboard with twin stainless steel sinks, two large coolers, a four burner gas stove and microwave. Two aft cabins both with double berths, plenty of hanging stowage and shelves. To port is the second heads that can also be accessed by the port aft cabin. Hot and cold pressurised water throughout, heated via the engine and immersion. Twin water tanks holding approximately 615 litres of fresh water. Twin holding tanks totalling approximately 160 litres. Webasto heating in all cabins and the saloon.

Mechanical Systems

She is powered by a Yanmar 4JH3TE fresh water cooled diesel engine producing 75hp, this is found beneath the companionway in an insulated engine room. Three bladed folding propeller with rope cutter powered by shaft from the engine. Single lever controls found at the helm. The engine was last serviced in 2024. Bow thruster fitted, controls at port helm.

Control lines lead to cockpit through organisers and spinlock clutches.

    Built in 2007 by Jeanneau Yachts to a design by B. Briand/V. Garroni. White GRP Hull. Teak laid decks, cockpit and cockpit table. Cast iron keel. Stainless steel pulpit and pushpit with safety rails. Safety lines run forward from cockpit.
