The Beneteau Oceanis 31 is a popular family cruising yacht, offering comfortable accommodation in an easily handled package. Persephone is a 2010 example with the fin keel configuration and has clearly benefited from regular maintenance and a useful programme of updating during the present ownership. Purchased by her current owners in the winter of 2019, she was sailed back to the East Coast in summer 2020 and has subsequently been based at Suffolk Yacht Harbour. She has been lifted every winter in her current ownership, relaunched in the spring, antifouled annually and her sails have been professionally laundered each year. Significant expenditure includes replacement standing rigging in 2020, Raymarine Axiom+ 9 chartplotter in 2023, Jeckells cruising sails in 2024, replacement running rigging in 2025 and Raymarine i70 instrumentation in 2025. She is also equipped with a bow thruster, Gori three-bladed folding propeller, diesel cabin heating and a useful inventory. An appealing and well-equipped example of this successful cruiser, worthy of early inspection.
