The Tayana 37 is a solid blue water cruiser designed and built by the dynamic duo Bob Perry and Ta Yang Yacht building, one of the best boat builders in the Far East. Designed as a traditional full keel double ender with moderate displacement. Celtic Dream has undergone many upgrades recently including NEW RIGGING & NEW RUNNING RIGGING, NEW MAINSAIL & STAYSAIL, NEW DINGHY & OUTBOARD, NEW THRU HULLS, NEW BATTERIES, NEW WATER TANK, NEW LED DECK, NAV, ANCHOR & RUNNING LIGHTS. The boat comes quipped with generator, water-maker with new membranes and air conditioning. In need of a little cosmetic work, all the essentials have been taken care off.

Accommodations

The layout offers up to  4 berths in 1 sleeping cabin and saloon. There is full standing headroom and good ventilation throughout. 

Forward is the double V berth with top opening hatch and teak cabinets either side and drawers under the bunk. Moving aft down the corridor the head lies to port with electric Raritan head, wash basin and shower cubical which also houses the Hair washing machine. The starboard side of the corridor is lined with Louvre teak cupboards. On the back of the door to the saloon is a full length mirror.  The saloon has a full length settee to starboard and an L shaped settee to port.  Down the centre is the dropped leaf teak dinning table with a butterfly hatch above and port lights to the side. The ergonomically U shaped galley lies on the port side with double polished stainless sink with fresh water and salt water foot pumps.  3 burner Force Ten hob and oven, and fridge and freezer.  A drop leaf table can be extended next to the sink for extra work top space.  To starboard is the chart table.  Under the companion way steps are the electrical panels and battery switches.

Mechanical Systems

The Yanmar 4JH4E 55hp engine has 1905hrs and is in good running order. Two Racor 500’s with delux manifold for fuel control.  Northern Lights M673 5Kw generator model 6732-35198 with hours 6559hrs.

This Tayana 37 was built in Ta Yang Yacht Building Co. (TAIWAN). The hull is built from solid GRP with a long keel and a keel hung rudder. Hull epoxied 2020.  Last anti-fouled 2022

Celtic Dream has a USCG registration and there are no outstanding mortgages or encumbrances.
