Accommodation

The layout offers up to six berths in three cabins with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation.  Nova white finish to bulkheads. Approx 6ft headroom.

In the fore cabin, V berth with stowage under.  Opening hatch to foredeck.  

In saloon, two settee berths.  Fixed table with drop leaves.  Chart table to starboard with galley opposite.  Three burner gimballed gas cooker with oven.  Twin stainless steel sinks with pressurised cold water supply.  40 gallon fresh water capacity.  Refrigerator. Various crockery & cutlery.

Separate heads compartment to starboard with marine toilet and wash basin.

Aft cabin with double berth and hanging locker.  

New cloth upholstery in 2022. Central heating system, new 2023. Radio receiver.

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway. 1987 Yanmar 2GM20 twin cylinder 18hp diesel engine.  Electric start.  Seawater cooled.  Shaft drive to Brunton 3 bladed folding propeller.  Rope cutter.  Single lever control.  60 litre fuel capacity giving approximately 300 mile range at 5.5 knots cruising speed.  Stainless steel fuel tank. Maximum speed under power 6 knots.  Approx. 2,600 hours logged.  Serviced in March 2024 with light usage since. New stainless steel exhaust manifold.

  • 3 x 12 volt batteries in two banks (2 x 110ah, 2018 domestics & 1 x 60ah, 2016 engine start)

Spars & Sails

Fractionally rigged sloop.  Deck stepped anodised aluminium mast and boom, 1987.  Stainless steel standing rigging.  Backstay adjuster.  Terylene and Dyneema running rigging, replaced as necessary in 2021.  Headsail furling system.  Slab reefing mainsail.  Lines led aft to cockpit.  Alloy spinnaker pole.  Two Lewmar 30 sheet winches.  Two Lewmar 16 control line winches.  Boom strut.

Construction

Built by Dehler Yachts in 1987 to a design by EG van de Stadt.  Off white GRP hull with style stripes.  Rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with painted non-slip to deck.  Cast iron fin keel.  Spade hung rudder.  Tiller steering.  Aft self draining cockpit.  

Last surveyed in 2021 - all recommendations done.
