Accommodation
The accommodation offers 6 berths in 3 cabins with full standing headroom throughout and is attractively finished with rich mahogany linings and furniture, complimented by premium quality green pattened cotton upholstery.
FORECABIN: Twin V berths with an infill to form a double, hanging locker, stowage areas, and an opening hatch with stainless steel ladder to the foredeck.
SALOON: L-shaped seating area with settee berth to port, table with folding leaves, settee berth to starboard, and good stowage space in various lockers.
GALLEY: Located aft to port and equipped with a Wallas ceramic two burner diesel hob, Dualit electric oven (for when on shorepower), stainless steel sink with drainer, Isotherm refrigerator (new 2022), and ample storage in various cupboards, drawers and lockers.
HEADS: Separate compartment aft to starboard with marine toilet, holding tank with gauge, wash basin, shower, and cupboards.
WHEELHOUSE: The deep and sheltered cockpit combines superbly with the wheelhouse, laid out with a helm position to port and bench seat to starboard, to offer generous seating. Capella uniquely features a removable wheelhouse back and doors should someone ever prefer to return to the original dog house design, and her wheelhouse roof has twin opening hatches as opposed to the original perspex panel design.
AFT CABIN: Fitted with twin berths with an infill to create an offset double,vanity unit, hanging lockers, drawers, and useful stowage under bunks.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: 306L Freshwater capacity supplying hot and cold pressurised water via a calorifier with immersion coil. 55L Holding tank with gauge. Webasto diesel-fired warm air heating system (new 2020). Teak and holly sole boards and green curtains throughout.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the wheelhouse sole, Vetus M4.55 52hp 4-cylinder inboard diesel engine (new 2015). Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive with Ambassador Stripper rope cutter to 3-bladed fixed pitch propeller. Full engine instrumentation.
The engine has run for 1057hrs since new equating to approximately 130-135hrs per season and has been regularly serviced.
Electrical Systems
2 x 12v 135ah XD Dual Purpose batteries (domestic and engine start, both new 2019) charged via engine alternator. Dedicated bow thruster and anchor windlass battery (new 2019). Shorepower system with ring mains, immersion coil for water heating, and battery charger.
Spars & Sails
Masthead rigged sloop. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel self-tacking system. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2015). Terylene running rigging (replaced when required). Slab reefing mainsail. Furlex 200S headsail furling system. 2 x Lewmar 40 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Enkes 10 self-tailing ancillary winches. Barton G16 reefing winch on mast.

In addition to the original rig a shorter laminated Scotch pine mast with matching boom were manufactured in 2006 to allow easier passage-making on inland waterways with the rig down. New rigging was manufactured at the time together with new sails, and the majority of this is included, although the boom has gone missing and some lines and fittings may require replacement. There is also a shorter timber motoring mast for use without sails if preferred.

Construction
Coaster 33 built in 1991 by R.J. Prior & Son of Burnham on Crouch (Hull No 46 and the second to last built) to a design by Alan Hill. White GRP hull, superstructure, and deck with Treadmaster non-slip surfaces on deck and coachroof. Teak semi-enclosed forward facing wheelhouse with GRP roof and removable aft wheelhouse bulkhead and doors. Long keel with keel hung rudder. Hydraulic wheel steering. Self-draining centre cockpit.
