Construction
'Alert IV' (originally 'Lynx') was built by Halmatic to a custom commercial specification as a coastal patrol vessel, commissioned in 1995 and first launched in July 1996. Grey GRP hull with GRP-encapsulated foam framing, superstructure, and decks. Watertight bulkheads. Heavy duty D fendering.
In 2008 the hull from the waterline down was professionally taken back to gelcoat and epoxy coated. Since this date she has been regularly ashore for annual maintenance and appears to be in good general order but is now in need of some remedial works such as resealing windows and refitting to suit her next owner's requirements.
