EN SUITE:   Separate en suite heads compartment to port with electric flush marine toilet, washbasin, shower area, storage, and opening portlight.

GUEST CABIN:   Located to starboard and fitted with twin single berths (an insert to form a double could also easily be created if required), wardrobe, lockers, reading lights, opening portlight, and en suite access to the heads compartment.

HEADS:   Separate heads compartment to starboard with electric flush marine toilet, washbasin, shower area, storage, and opening portlight.

SALOON:   U-shaped settee to starboard with an adjustable height table with folding leaves, and port settee. Entertainment is provided by an LG LCD TV and Fusion stereo system, whilst a cocktail cabinet and cupboards add versatility and useful storage. Forward to starboard is the lower helm, allowing comfortable seating for two with excellent all-round visibility, well equipped with a range of navigation equipment, and a large chart area. Steps down to galley and cabins, with sliding door aft to cockpit.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT:   The interior features lacquered American Cherry and Eucalyptus cabinetry, and cream leatherette linings with blue trim to the sleeping cabins. The saloon has luxurious cream leather upholstery and premium quality cotton in the sleeping cabins, with cream carpets and fitted blinds throughout. Hot and cold pressurised water is provided throughout via a calorifier with an immersion coil whilst a Webasto diesel-fired warm air heating system provides warmth on colder days. Holding tank with gauge and deck and overboard discharge facilities.

EXTERIOR:   The aft cockpit provides ample room for entertaining, with a large offset aft seat (with removable cushions), a cockpit table with folding leaves, and plenty of room for additional free-standing seating if required. Beneath the teak laid sole is a large lazarette which also provides access to the engine compartment. An offset walk-through transom door provides access to the bathing platform, whilst steps to either side lead up to safe, wide side decks running forward to the large foredeck with room for sunbathing pads if required. A teak floating staircase leads up to the flybridge, with an upper helm position and seating area, providing more useful external seating ideal for entertaining.

Mechanical Systems

Located under wheelhouse sole, twin Volvo Penta D6-435hp turbocharged intercooled six cylinder marine diesel engines. EVC electronic controls at both helms. Shaft drive via gearboxes to bronze propellers. Full engine instrumentation including temperature, oil pressure, volts, revs and fuel gauges. Bow and stern thrusters with walk-around controls. Adjustable trim tabs with automatic trim function.

The engines appear to be in excellent cosmetic condition, were last serviced in May 2022, and have been lightly used with only 550hrs approx. since new, equating to optimal usage of around 40hrs a season.

Construction

Fairline Phantom 40 built by Fairline Boats Ltd in 2007 to a Bernard Olesinski design, and first launched in 2008. White GRP planing hull, deck, and superstructure, hand-laid with unidirectional, biaxial, and woven rovings and using isophthalic gelcoat and resins. Large flybridge with ample seating upholstered in high-quality marine upholstery. Aft cockpit with teak-laid sole and walk-through transom to the moulded teak-laid bathing platform. Teak-effect side decks.

'Jilly B' is presented in superb condition for her age and appears to have been very well maintained and lightly used, making her likely to be one of the best examples of her type, and of boats in her class. Her price has recently been reduced to reflect that her next owner may decide to treat her to a new cockpit enclosure, although the current one remains very serviceable.
